Constitution of Shaoyang International Culture Association(2)

 
Article 7 SYICA adopts membership system (comprising directors, executive directors, director units and executive director units).   
 
Article 8 Applicants for the membership of SYICA must meet the following requirements:


(I) Accept the Constitution of SYICA ;
 
(II) Have genuine intention to join SYICA;
 
(III) Have certain influence in areas relating to the activities of SYICA;
 
(IV) Follow the lead of SYICA and actively participate in the activities organized by SYICA.
 
Article 9 Membership Application and Approval Procedures:
 
(I)  The applicant submits application form to SYICA;
(II)  The Board of Directors reviews and approves the application;
 
(III) The department authorized by the Board of Directors issues “Certificate of Director Membership” or “Certificate of Executive Director Membership”.
 
Article 10 The rights of the members include:
 
(I)  The right to vote and be elected in SYICA;
 
(II) The right to participate in the activities of SYICA;
 
(III) The priority in enjoying services offered by SYICA;
 
(IV) The right to criticize, supervise and make suggestions on the work of SYICA；
 
(V) The right to apply for the membership voluntarily and withdraw from the membership freely;
 
(VI)  The right to carry out independently, under the leadership of SYICA, international cultural exchange activities in his own region in accordance with relevant regulations;
 
(VII) The priority in obtaining local cultural exchange programs delegated by SYICA.


Article 11 Obligations of Members:
 
(I) Implement the resolutions of SYICA;
 
(II) Preserve the legitimate rights and interests of SYICA;
 
(III) Undertake all kinds of tasks delegated by SYICA;
 
(IV) Actively provide SYICA with new developments in areas of interest and the information concerned;
 
(V) Pay the membership fee in accordance with the regulations.
